Do you have a pantry, or cabinets you use to store your dry goods and non-perishables? It may seem like a personal question, but…What’s in your pantry?
Having the basic essentials on hand can make meal planning, spontaneous cookie making, even gift giving a lot easier. The thing is, each of us has preferences, and my essentials might not be yours. HERE is a list of the basic Pantry essentials, plus I’ve added a list for the fridge and freezer. (The link goes to my site Mom’s Online Retreat – sorry wanted to post the list here, but wouldn’t let me format it the way I wanted to
)

It’s so true that having the basics can make life so much easier. You can usually whip something up with eggs, milk, bread, cheese, etc.
Also having canned foods in our pantry has enabled me to make something quick for my family after a long day’s work. If I have spaghetti and sauce in the pantry I’ll usually ask my husband to buy fresh mushooms on his way home from work and voila!
