Chat Room Rules:
I pride myself in keeping the chat rooms free. In order to do that, we MUST have a respectful community of chatters. If I have to be present at all hours to keep the peace, then the chat rooms can not remain free. I know that everyone wants to keep it the way it is, so here are some basic rules that need to be followed.
1. Parties are to be held in the room you are scheduled in. It was in your confirmation email and it is also listed on the schedule.
2. If there is no party scheduled after you in the room you may stay and chat or keep partying!
3. NO parties are to be held in the Lounge. The Lounge is for general chatting with other Moms. Even spontaneous/surprise parties should move to an open party room.
4. If you have any problems in the chat room you are to contact one of the Owners. Do not contact a moderator. Moderators only have responsibility for rooms when they are in them. It is one of us owner’s responsibility to take care of problems. See our About page for contact information.
5. People found contacting moderators offline to discuss Mom Chats issues will be banned. Users that are disrespectful to others and routinely show inappropriate behavior will be banned from using Mom Chats rooms.
6. Cancellations: If for whatever reason you need to cancel your scheduled event, please let me know through schedule@momchats.com at your earliest convenience. This will allow me to make appropriate changes to the online calendar.
