Baths

The funny thing is the master bathtub is a big selling point for a house. Honestly, it was one of the selling points that factored into me buying our house. But now? NOT SO MUCH!

It’s a big garden tub. It was AWESOME when my kids were old enough to take baths by themselves for a little bit. I put one in my tub, one in the other tub and I ran back and forth between. Doors were open on both rooms and I could hear both from the livingroom. I’d planned this well without even knowing. lol

But myself in the tub? I think in 11 years I’ve been in there less than 10 times. I have to do serious cleaning before I can get in there. Plus the longer I’m online the less I can sit that long. OK, I should take my new love of my latest book series into the tub. I know that. But it hasn’t moved there yet.

Do you love your bath? Do you have to have your bath? I have a very good friend that almost exclusively takes baths. She just loves them. And her kids are out of the house! So maybe I am missing out on a major thing I should be doing to let some stress off at the end of the day?

  1. Taking a bath is a luxury for me. I love to do it but it’s really difficult to find enough time to take a long relaxing bath between work and the kids. Most of the time I just get a quick shower and this is it.

It is hard to find the time. Then if you find the time it’s even more difficult to “justify” taking that time for yourself and a long bath. Don’t forget you are worth this free luxury :)
