So, summer is coming to an end and those of us with school aged kids are sorting through clothes to see what still fits, searching for that 8 ct. of crayons that no store seems to have in stock, and starting to think about earlier to bed and earlier to rise. (Ugh!)
So, our question to you is – do you have any last week of summer plans? Is there that “one last thing” you have planned with the family before the back-to-school routine kicks into high gear?
We had our big end-of-summer event last week with our camping trip! So much fun!
Tomorrow is school registration & the kids start back a week from tomorrow – so reality is starting to set in here. Though I think we are all ready to get back to a more structured schedule.
We’re off to the ocean this week and maybe stopping for a couple of days at friend’s house on the lake on our way back. Kids start on the 1st, but daughter has soccer starting next week. So it’s our last week to get any traveling in. I agree, I’m ready for a little more structure again.
